Poke the bunny!

I got a realtor with Colliers International. He's perfect. One of us all the way. We talked about Ralph Bakshi films, how to make explosives in the kitchen, and breaking me out of my apartment with a file baked inside a chocolate cake. (I haven't been outside for more than an hour in three days. I have been only writing, responding to letters, talking to the bank and hours on the tireless phone. I'm wearing through the carpet where I sit stationed, cross-legged, wedged between the bottom of my bed and my snarling computer.)

He stayed up late to write the contract last night and we're getting together this afternoon to go over subjects and all the important etceteras. (There's a suspicion that he can get the price dropped even more.) It looks like we'll have eight weeks in which to do this, maybe nine.

This means Heart of the World is still beating.

It might be early to say, as we don't have the financing in place yet, but everything's looking a lot easier all of the sudden. I feel like I might have a chance to finally breathe. There's talk of a Heart of the World fundraiser happening at the VCC sometime soon. I don't specifically know the details, only that Paul Plimley's been talking to Sal Ferreras and Alexander Varty on my behalf.

Le Grand Content is splendid. Watch it.

I never stopped believing in any of this for a second.
You are truly awesome.
When we'll we get to see this plucky young woman on CBC?

First I sign an offer, then the other guys haggle, and eventually we come to an agreement. When I know exactly how much time we'll have for this and how much we're paying and all those lovely details, I'll be calling the media back.

I'm rooting for you sweetie

You never did back to me on the coffeeshop thing.

Hi

I want to live on commercial drive. Find me a home.

Also, my friend Edith from Montreal. She is but a tender 17 summers and has journeyed across this vast land to Vancouver, all in order to find her cool. Maybe you have that (what's with me always wanting to introduce my immigrant friends to Jhayne?).

z.

I liked the last one you introduced me too, though we were both far too scattered to do more than call each other every once and awhile.

What're your house-living deails? How many rooms, what a month, all those etceteras.

Hi

How about... cheap? I only need one room exactly as long across the diagonal as my (very sexy) body. Maybe a cardboard box to use as a writing desk?

So... who's my new roommate?

z.

Weel, I'm planning on moving out soon, though not right away. I need to know more solidly where we are with the theatre first.

This is what happens when you at least try to sleep. Keep taking care of yourself or so help me I'm leaving and taking my cheerleading and hot lawyer friends with me.

Watch out, lovely, you're beginning to sound like a local.

I like the 'Le Grand' link

It's seriously impressive that you've got it this far. Here's hoping you achieve the goal. Good luck.

I especially like his delivery. I'd like to see it live.

People keep telling me it's impressive, but I can't shake the feeling I'm not doing enough.

The mind boggles that you've found someone in such a stodgy industry who hasn't lost his soul.

I'll say. It seems your luck operates on a similar small scale as my dad's does -- he'll never win the lottery but in the occasional "free ticket" or $2 return.

*GASP* I thought that bunny was gone forever! I wanted to send him to you years ago! He's totally back.

He pops up every few years, i think. I've seen him before, but it's one of those things I don't keep bookmarked. It's so much sweeter to stuble upon him.

Yay HotW!!!

I told one of my friends a bedtime story with the Heart of the World in it. She was Princess Bea, and she was bored with the food her great chefs were cooking for her in the Emerald Palace, so she flew to the great Northern Wilderness to the Heart of the World where she had heard that the troll Christopher was sitting on a hoard of cinnamon Kit-Kat bars (and incidentally preventing the Princess Jhayne from revitalizing the waning powers of the sacred edifice). She defeated him in a battle of magical wits, seized the Kit-Kats, and opened the Heart of the World. *shrug* It wasn't my best work, but I was working on the fly and with clogged sinuses. :)

In the story, it was this great Tiffany stained-glass structure glowing scarlet from within, etc. etc., with a tall spire. Not a makeover I'd advise, even with a glass shop just up the street, the price of rocks and spray paint being so much cheaper than tinted glass; but there you go.

It's slowly infecting everyone, it seems. Duncan had a dream about the theatre where I was hosting a spelling bee.

Jhayne and the Bee?

Have you tried to get funding from Starbucks? :)

Excellent!! *evil grin*

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, quit. Love, Btian

Rock.

It's going to happen, you know. It really is.

Even if the lotto ticket didn't win.

I'll try again tomorrow though. :)

You're going to blame me for your lotto addiction? how sweet.

*hugs*

Addiction? My dear, last week was the first time I've ever bought more than a scratch and win. I usually view the lotto as a tax on the stupid.

But, it does still offer some slim chance, doesn't it?

*hugs*

This'll happen, it really will. :D

I had a housefire and was buried in the ice storm as well.

Do you plan on having any more auctions for this? Can I still contribute something? Do you have my phone number?

O hell, sweetheart. No I don't. Is everything alright now?

If more people give us auctions, then more auctions will be had.

I sent you an e-mail a while ago, from my college account. Not sure if it made it through. If it did, consider replying. :) Would love to hear from you again. ~M

College account? I'm sorry, if you aren't spam, I don't know who yo uare.

I don't have a livejournal account anymore, hence the anonymousness. :) It's Megan. The e-mail address I used is my college mail so it might've gotten misplaced. I sent it a few weeks ago.
