Work dropped an incredibly heavy piece of furniture on him. Apparently if the angle had been just slightly more acute, it would have broken his arm, but as is, he's just got a goose-egg on his bone.

He's alright, though the next few days are going to be less fun. Work dropped a wing back chair on his arm, almost broke it. Thankfully, his arm will be fine. The upshot is really that he has a hell of a lump on his arm and a full day off work.
